Newcastle United will be fielding two recent signings in their squad when they face Quakers at the Northern Echo Arena on Monday.

Magpies manager Rafa Benitez recently signed Stefan O’Connor from Arsenal and Josef Yarney from Everton. O’Connor played in the Champions League for Arsenal against Galatasaray, and has been capped by England Under 17s.

Yarney worked his way through the system at Goodison Park, and made three first team appearances in the Checkatrade Trophy last season.

The pair are expected to be included in the Magpies squad along with several players with first team experience. It’s sure to be a pretty good squad, and will be a tough test for Quakers.

Admission to the game, which is being sponsored by Virgin Trains East Coast, is £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
