Very soon the club will be launching “Darlo’s on the Up, the story of six successful Darlington FC promotion campaigns.”

The 256 page book goes on sale on Sunday November 8^th at 2pm in the Dolphin Centre, and is the chronicle of the last six successful promotion campaigns – in 1966, 1985, 1990, 1991, 2013 and 2015 – and uses contemporary match reports and quotes of the time, particularly from managers Lol Morgan, Cyril Knowles, Brian Little and Martin Gray. There are also recollections from players and fans, as well as dozens of photographs.

To help launch the book, there will be a reunion of around 50 former and current players and officials, including John Peverell, Kevan Smith, Jamie Chandler, Sam Russell, Gary Brown, Les McJannet and Gary Coatsworth.

The book, which costs £12, will be available at Quaker Retail and on line, details of which will be announced later.
