Quakers set for first friendly

Trip to Tadcaster Albion for openers

We play our first friendly in our pre season programme when we go to Tadcaster Albion on Tuesday night.

Manager Alun Armstrong has been busy in the last few weeks, and has brought in several new players – Mitchell Curry, Cameron Salkeld, Toby Lees, Tom Pratt and Jordan Mustoe – all of whom will probably be included in the squad.

Jacob Hazel won't be on duty because of his international commitments.

The game is part of the agreement for our signing of Erico de Sousa, who played one season for us before moving to Grimsby and now Boreham Wood.

Tadcaster play in the Northern Counties East League, and are aiming to bounce back to the Northern Premier League.

Admission prices tonight are £5 adults, £4 concessions and £1 juniors.

We have four more pre season friendlies arranged:

Saturday 8th July Newton Aycliffe (away)

Saturday 15th July Harrogate Town (home)

Tuesday 18th July Middlesbrough (home)

Saturday 22nd July Marske United (at Billingham Town)
