Thanks for the memory, Tez!

A tribute to Terry Galbraith

One of our best ever players since we became a fan-owned club, Terry Galbraith, has decided to leave the club.

Tez signed us way back in the Northern League season in November 2012, and helped us win three promotions up to the National League North, with some unforgettable memories along the way.

Tez told us" After a long hard think and many sleepless nights I’ve made a decision to leave Darlington FC. Obviously it’s been a very tough choice but I feel it’s the correct one to make right now. It’s been an amazing eight years that’s produced many memories I will never ever forget 🏆 especially captaining a great set of lads for the last couple of seasons. Massive thank you to the fans for the constant support from day one! Amazing efforts every year to keep the club moving forward! I wish everyone all the very best in the future. A fresh start is sometimes good, wherever and whenever that may be. Big love, Tez"

Tez made 303 appearances for us, scoring 56 goals, the most important being the equaliser at Spennymoor in the Northern League season. Everyone has a favourite Tez memory.

We'd like to pay a tribute to him in pictures, and at the same time, say thanks for the memories! Everyone at DFC would like to wish him all the best for the future.
