Darlington Under 12s 0 Swalwell Under 12s 7.

It was always going to be a hard game against last season’s league winners.

The lads started well and it looked a well even match for the first 15 minutes, Swalwell then started applying pressure and pinned us into our own half, two goals followed several attacks.

Towards the end of the half Darlington stepped up a gear and played good passing football and pressed more.

Second half started well, but again Swalwell pressed and the goals came.

The lads made some fine individual displays, there were a few lapses in concentration, but work effort was very high. Towards to end of the half the u12s applied pressure to the Swalwell defence and had some great chances.

U12's 0 Swalwell 7.
