The official Darlington FC website has reached another milestone.

On Wednesday, from somewhere in the world, the website was visited for the 500,000^th time, a fantastic achievement considering that it only started up in March this year.

From looking at the website’s analytics, we know that the website is visited by fans in over 170 countries, all wanting to be kept informed about the events at Darlington FC. On average, each visitor looks at 2.2 pages, which means that there have been over 1.1 million page views.

The website contains a varied amount of content, with match highlights one of its most popular features, while the recent introduction of separate youth team match reports has also led to an increase in traffic. There are plans to introduce more content in the future.

The club has had visits from all over the globe. For example, there have been 7,565 visits from the USA, 1,392 from Norway, 1,329 from Russia, 712 from Georgia, 188 from Bulgaria, 135 from the Czech Republic, 74 from Mauritius, 44 from Macedonia and 13 from Nepal. We’ve even had visits from Haiti, Burkina Faso, El Salvador, the Seychelles and St Lucia. Obviously some Darlo fans couldn’t resist checking in when they were on holiday in some places.
