Scott started his career at Swansea, before moving on to Port Talbot where he made over 100 appearances and was named in the Welsh Premier League team of the year.
He then moved to Tamworth in 2010, and made a century of appearances for them in three seasons before a season at Macclesfield. He then moved up to the Football League with Newport County in 2015, but was released a year later.
He had a season with Merthyr Town in the Southern League Premier Division, before he joined Gateshead, where Steve Watson was manager. He had three years as a regular at the International Stadium, before moving to York in 2020 where Steve had become manager. He helped York win promotion to the National League in the 21/22 season, but suffered an injury in the play off final that kept him out of action for the whole of the 22/23 season.
He is now back to full fitness and joined Quakers on loan in January 2023 for the remainder of the season.
Steve Watson said; “Scott was my captain at Gateshead and he then followed me to York. He is a very experienced player and capable of playing left back, left centre half or left wing back. He’s a good defender but also has good quality going forward and has the ability to create and score goals, which in our situation is vital.”
